I’m asked pretty often how I always seem so full of energy, so I wanted to share it online. I sat down and thought about the daily things that I do that help me stay full of energy and passion, and put them into a list to share with you. Some of these seem like common sense, but I rarely find someone who is implementing all of them into their life!
Here we go:
Exercise - Exercise keeps your body healthy and strong. It also helps improve your circulation, which boosts energy levels! Studies have shown that even 10 minutes per day of moderate exercise can have huge positive impacts on your energy and health.
Meditation - Meditation is training of the mind, and can lead to a more peaceful and energetic state of being. The Tibetan word for meditation, Gom, means “To become more familiar with (the mind)”. The good news is, meditation is commonly misunderstood in Western society - You don’t need to levitate 3 feet off the ground and chant “OM”. Simply sitting or lying in a comfortable position and focusing on your breathing for 10-15 minutes a day can bring amazing changes to your mood and energy.
Stay Positive/ Have Fun - These two mindsets really work hand-in-hand to boost your energy levels. Look on the bright side of all situations, and make sure to make time for fun in your life - having fun is one of the best way to recharge your batteries! There is a silver lining to everything, you just need to find it!
Hydrate - Your body is mostly made up of water, so it just makes sense that you need lots of water to feel great! I try to drink at least 8 glasses a day.
Supplements - Taking the right health/ energy boosting supplements can really help. I make sure to take omega 3’s, Vitamin D and Bluvos everyday!
If you can make time or room for even one of these tips that you aren’t already doing, you can really improve your energy levels and overall well being! I encourage you guys to try some (or better yet, all) of these tips out!
